iHMS security includes locking, alarm monitoring and advanced caller display on TV. Many hotels use standalone guestroom locking solutions with no provision for remote alarms or for alerting guests and staff to a hostile intrusion. While other modules of the iHMS solution can be utilised in rooms equipped with an existing standalone locking system, there is no equivalent to the level of protection provided by the on-line Guestroom Locking application of iHMS itself.

The simple, miniature metal key design (with skillfully concealed intelligence) is user-friendly and provides a preferred alternative in select applications.
