GRMS Control Panel

The room control panel is a one box solution, fully wired and ready for installation. There are different control panel solutions on offer, sizable to centralised, distributed or hybrid controls. Cabling topology for centralised control requires all field 230V and control cables to be wired into the panel. Distributed controls have a minimal amount of wires into the panel and require the least panel space, reducing cabling costs substantially. Further, contraction and expansion of the system may have little impact on the size of the distributed panel. Through the RON bus communication, the Local Control Unit (LCU) is connected to output devices such as relays, dimmers and PWM/0-10Vdc analogue outputs. The control panel with its configurable application software, is a smart control system, suitable for hotels, homes, apartments and other residential or commercial buildings. It can operate as a stand-alone system or as part of a network of control cabinets using TCP/ IP communication protocol.
The room control panel is assembled in an all metal enclosure made in accordance to BS7671:2008 standard, incorporating amendment 3:2015. It is designed and assembled for easy and accurate connections of field wires to it by a skilled installer. Each of the one panel solutions can easily be configured with a laptop or Android tablet by the installer, who can configure controller functionalities on site. This can eliminate visits from the manufacturer for commission or configuration purposes.

The customised LCU control software has been developed for more specialised control applications and to enable installers to configure controller functionalities on site. The LCU316N provides non-volatile storage of configuration data, which can be retrieved for the purpose of editing and reprogramming. For special cases in stand-alone applications, the LCU optionally provides non-volatile storage of events, time and date stamped using an on-board clock/calendar. Event information is available on demand.
